I am an Associate Professor of Mathematics at Hope College in the Department of Mathematics. My research interests lie in the application of applied mathematics and machine learning to study biology, chemistry, and geology. I am also interested in algebraic topology and topological data analysis.
I received my PhD in mathematics from Northwestern University where I worked with Paul Goerss on the Hopf (or Dieudonne) rings for connective topological modular forms, connective real K-theory, and connective Morava K-Theory.
